VU+ Solo 4K in the shops on 25. october
It is almost here the brand new top of the line receiver from VU+ the Solo 4K. The VU+ Solo 4K will be in the shops fra 25. october. The base model with dual DVB-S2 will be 499,- Euro. While you will have to pay a bit more for configurations with DVB-C/T2 and if you want a built in hard drive. VU+ likes to include a color display on their top of the line receivers and the Solo 4K is no exception with a 3,5″ color display in the middle of the front.
The new Solo 4K offers Full Band Capture (FBC) which should offer instant and super fast channel zapping. The FBC will be able to pull in up to 8 transponders simultaneously.
Of course being a 4K receiver there is support for HEVC/H.265. CPU wise the Solo 4K is powered by a ARM Dual Core-Processor 2 x 1500 MHz and offers 4 GB Flash and 2 GB RAM. Connections includ 2 x USB 3.0 and 1 USB 2.0. The latter is on the front and of of course Gigabit Lan is there as well. HDMI 2.0 is of course essential for 4K resolution.
We are hoping to do a review soon of the VU+ Solo 4K by the way.
